Meet Our Staff
Wrigley Hostel’s staff has worked hard to establish the hostel’s community feel. Our staff is a supportive family that extends their love and compassion to our guests. We aim to promote and encourage a positive atmosphere through out the hostel. We know that our guests love Wrigley Hostel as much as our staff!
Brendan is the co-owner of the hostel and given that Wrigley Hostel has been open for almost 4 years, he has plenty of classic hostel stories to tell. Orignially from Australia, he came to the USA to travel and then before long he fell in love with Chicago…He has been here ever since. “It has been incredibly exciting to meet so many people from all over the world. Since opening the hostel I have met people from over 140 countries. I have found that everyone has an interesting story, so please say Hi when you are at Wrigley Hostel! :)” -Brendan
Ida worked at Wrigley Hostel for 2 years before becoming the General Manager. She has a passion for travel and has visited/lived in over 20 countries and to over 20 states in America. She loves volunteering, in 2019 she completed a year of national community service while serving in AmeriCorps. She has a background in biology, loves photography, and enjoys going for beautiful hikes. Ida loves Wrigley Hostel because it truly feels like home and she hopes you love it as much as she does!

You can find Stephanie working at the Hostel Tuesday-Saturday mornings. She is the mother to a sweet 6 year-old boy who she loves so much. He is the reason why she is always smiling! Stephanie enjoys reading, so if you ever have a good book suggestion, let her know.
Pedro is working hard all night making sure to keep the hostel spotless and clean for all of our guests! He always has a smile on his face, and will greet you at the door if you come in after midnight. He also cooks up a delicious breakfast of pancakes and waffles for you every morning! Pedro is the bomb.
